Silver Air Promotes James Gould to Vice President of Flight Crew & Chief Pilot

Santa Barbara, CA: March 10, 2025 — Silver Air has elevated one of its most experienced aviation professionals, James Gould, to the position of Vice President of Flight Crew & Chief Pilot. This key addition to Silver Air’s leadership team comes during a period of significant fleet expansion and increasing demand for premium private aviation services, further strengthening the company’s operational capabilities.

With over 10,000 flight hours and extensive experience across Part 135 and Part 91 operations, James is a seasoned aviation professional with a deep commitment to pilot development and operational excellence. His expertise spans multiple aircraft platforms, including the Gulfstream G200, GIV, GV, G500, Challenger 600 series, Bombardier Global Express and various Citation and Embraer models.

James has played an integral role at Silver Air, serving as Chief Pilot and Check Airman for 5 years, where he has been instrumental in training and evaluating pilots under FAA Part 135 regulations. His leadership ensures that Silver Air continues to set the benchmark for safety, training, and service excellence in the private aviation industry.
